Our 3rd, 4th and 5th Class pupils recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Airfield Estate in Dublin after winning a competition before Christmas. All the children enjoyed a memorable day of exploration and learning in the expansive grounds.
The children had the opportunity to tour the working farm, meet the animals, and discover more about sustainable food production and biodiversity. They also explored the beautiful gardens and enjoyed hands-on workshops that brought their classroom learning to life. The children participated in an outdoor mini beast hunt, seed planting, tree climbing and finally time spent in the woodland playgournd. throughout the day the children demonstarted curiosity, teamwork, and shared plenty of smiles.
