Children in 3rd & 4th Class were busy on Firday afternoon, working on the large whiskey barrel planters at the front of the school.
They removed all of the old soil from the containers and replaced it with fresh potting compost.
Then they planted up the barrel beside the entrance gate with bedding plants and the sweet peas that they grew themselves from last years seeds. The other barrels will be completed next week.
We think the new pot looks pretty good!
