First and Second Class have been busy learning all about plants and flowers as part of their Science lessons. The children explored what plants need to grow, how to plant seeds properly, and studied the life cycle of a sunflower — from tiny seed to tall, blooming flower. Each child planted their own sunflower seed in a pot, and we’re now carefully watering them and watching for the first signs of growth. It’s a very exciting project, and over the next three months we’ll be observing the changes as our sunflowers grow big and strong. We can’t wait to see them bloom!
