Ballinakill N.S. is a co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Kildare-Leighlin. We are situated in the beautiful picturesque village of Ballinakill, Co. Laois. Ballinakill NS is an inclusive school which aims to make a difference to the lives of all children who attend. In Ballinakill NS, we aim to provide a child-centred approach to education which encourages life-long learners who are confident and resilient. Ballinakill N.S. is a vertical, co-educational school catering for boys and girls from Junior Infants to 6th class. There are currently 98 children enrolled in our school who are taught in a multigrade setting. There are five full time teachers, including one Special Education Teacher and a teaching principal, employed in the school.
