In April Gráinne Walsh came to visit our school. Gráinne is a boxer from Tullamore. She represented Ireland in the summer Olympics in Paris. She was inspired by Katie Taylor to start boxing.
Over the years Gráinne has broken her thumb many times. She loves Man. Utd. and she loves Ronaldo. She used to play soccer with Shamrock Rovers Ladies F.C. In her free time she likes to colour. She has a dog, a cavalier king Charles that she really loves.
We found her inspiring and we are very grateful that Gráinne came to visit our school. We are excited to see her in the Olympics.
