First and Second Class had a fantastic week learning French with the help of some brilliant students from Heywood Secondary School. Each day, the Heywood students visited our classroom and taught us fun and engaging French lessons — from greetings and numbers to songs and simple phrases. The children absolutely loved it and got really involved, showing great enthusiasm and curiosity. Best of all, they’re still practising their new language skills in class.
