The children in our 3rd & 4th Classes engaged in a unit of work on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, this incorporated using material from the Our World Awards programme.
As part of the process children created individual pieces of writing and art work focusing on one country or sustainable goals. All of the work was then combined into one giant sized 50 meter long project.
The completion of such a large scale piece of work highlighted to the children what it is possible to achieve when people collaborate and groups work together cooperatively as a team.
While we were not selected for the finals this year, the high quality of the work of the children was recognised and their project was featured in an article in the local media.
